The SMARTFIX Smartphone repair lab is in the electronic field near Mantova and is the most popular repair lab in the town of Asola.
SMARTFIX contacted us with the goal to create an EPA in order to safely handle the most fragile and sensitive electronic components.
What’s an EPA?
Within an electronic lab, there’s an area defined as EPA: It stands for ELECTROSTATICALLY PROTECTED AREA. In such area the user is able to work and move without worrying about ESDs (ElectroStatic Discharges) thanks to a grounding system setup that minimizes the residual presence of electrostatic charges in a determined space.
Maxder Group supplied SMARTFIX smartphone repair lab a professional and completely ESD-SAFE corner workbench, which also complies to regulations put in place regarding electrostatic shocks protection.
The workbench in question is the KE HIGH CORNER 1500 ESD flagship of the KE series.
The workbench gives the lab everything it needs to work in complete safety, thanks to a worktop with black ABS borders for safety. It has a 27mm thick antiscratch static dissipative laminate surface of static dissipative laminate and has been painted with a coat of static dissipative epoxy powders. The workbench has a total height of 1950mm and is fitted with a tool-holding shelf a power module with schuko sockets and a lighting module to give the best illumination possible.
Thanks to its modularity Maxder’s workbenches can be customised with numerous extra modules as seen in the pictures. This model has been fitted with: a keyboard holder placed directly under the main worktop, a PC holder and a three-jointed monitor holder brace.
